Specification for a GEL Herbicide for direct Use on cut stump. Active Ingredients Required Picloram (pyridine carboxylic acid), as potassium salt. Triclopyr (pyridine carboxylic acid), as triethylamine salt. Mixing Requirements It must be a ready-to-use herbicide that is applied directly on a stump cut, by means of a paint brush. It must have a distinctive, long lasting colour and requires no additional surfactants or colorants to improve efficacy or visibility. It must not have off-target potential damage if applied correctly. Application rate Required 1-2 mm layer to cover the entire exposed surface area. Approximate rates in terms of the amount of GEL Herbicide to be applied to Tree stump diameter class.
