No ear loops and no tie straps will be accepted INNER LAYER MATERIAL To consist of synthetic or mixed fibres for quick drying properties, should not be water repellent nor accumulate excessive moisture MIDDLE LAYER MATERIAL Nonwoven filter, should not shed fibres or disintegrate and should not add or create unnecessary heat load OUTER LAYER MATERIAL To consist of hydrophobic or water repellent properties, should not restrict normal breathing and entail a firm finish that will prevent the mask from collapsing with breathing DESIGN Mask style should follow closely the contours of the face especially around the nose bridge and under the chin to reduce leakage out and into the mask. The mask should cover entire nose area and fit to 25mm (+/-10% variance will be acceptable) under the chin LIFE SPAN The mask should be resistant to at least 100 wash cycles LABELLING To include a size label onto the mask PACKAGING Masks should be packaged individually with clear wash care and usage instructions.
