Office Location Eskom Rotek Industries SOC Limited House No 5 Corner Lower Germiston Road And Hunslet Road Rosherville Johannesburg Email Address phalattb@eskom.co.za Scope Details Fleet Management provide Eri Business Units with fit for purpose vehicles to successfully execute their business and their fore those vehicles should be Licensed and Certified fit annually for their purpose hence a request for Certificate of Fitness (COF) service Provider. A. SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLES • Regular vehicle testing for Certificate of Fitness and Roadworthiness, weighing of vehicles, registrations of vehicles and number plates. • Service provider must comply to the level of competency required in the quote of Practice and Vehicle testing evaluation. • Service provider must comply with Roadworthy certification as prescribe by the Appropriate registered and grated Vehicle testing stations in accordance with the SABS 047/2000 code of Practice. • Subject to the conditions of registrations and regulation 132 testing station should be a Grade A (authorized to examine and test motor vehicles of any class in terms of regulation 140. • The service must comply with the homologation proses standards Act No 29 of 1992. Technical • The testing must be registered as per the road traffic Act 93 of 1996 regulation 130. • A certificate of registration issued in terms of the ACT shall be displayed in a conspicuous place in their premises. • The supplier should be in accordance with Grade A motor vehicle testing of any class in terms of regulation 140 for roadworthiness. • Supplier should supply evidence of accredited test on a vehicle after homologation. • Sufficient database to enable relevant model of type of the components/ancillary related to the above. • Ensuring that quality management system implemented by the body builder is in accordance with the international standards (ISO 9000 series or similar). • We require proof from the body builder that the model complies with the legislated technical requirements. The supplier should provide a written declaration by the appointed inspectorate of Manufactures, importers, and Body Builders that satisfactory evidence has been submitted to register the Vehicle.
