GUIDELINE Wherever reference is made to any particular Trade Mark, Name, Patent, Design, Type, Specific Origin or Producer, such reference shall be deemed to be accompanied by the words "or equivalent". Specification 1. The MHMI is used for setting, monitoring and controlling the REB670 protection relay. 2. The MHMI display shall fit on the REB670 (serial number T1142127) relay enclosure. 3. The MHMI display shall be of ordering code 1MRK000008-MB. 4. The MHMI comprises the display, push-buttons, LED indicators and communication ports. Display 1. Shall have graphical monochrome display categorised as Medium size # graphical display. 2. Shall integrate IEC symbols. 3. Shall be full 19 inch width i.e. 1/1 x 19 inch LEDs 1. Shall include three protection status LEDs above the graphical display, namely Ready, Start and Trip. 2. Shall have a minimum of 15 programmable alarm LEDs on the front of the MHMI. 3. The alarm texts related to each LED shall be divided into three pages. 4. Altogether, the 15 physical alarm LEDs shall indicate 45 different alarms. Communications 1. Shall have a RJ-45 Ethernet communications port on the front of the LHMI that enables connection to the main relay for configuration and settings purposes. Keypad 1. Shall have a minimum of 12 push-buttons which are used to navigate the different views, pages and menus. 2. The push-buttons shall control objects in the single-line diagram, for example, circuit breakers or disconnector. 3. The push-buttons shall also be used to acknowledge alarms, reset indications, provide help and switch between local and remote control modes. *NB The Municipal Bidding Document 6.1 (MBD 6.1) has been amended, in order to be eligible for preference points bidders are required to submit a duly completed MBD 6.1 document with supporting documents with each and every RFQ submission.
