RFQ Type Goods Goods Tools & Machinery Reference Number GD12300948 Title Rfq -water spray nozzle Description 600 each x rfq -water spray nozzle 600 each x rfq - fittings Specification* Automatic self closing devices - water spray nozzles and fittings Qty 600 of each please preferably in a kit set if possible The spray nozzle must be an automatic self-closing device with trigger and rubberized handle to conform to the City of Cape Town Water By-Laws and come standard with a tap adapter set (consisting of both 15mm and 22mm adaptor to the tap) <(>&<)> two 15 mm quick connectors (shut-off type) for each end of the hosepipe. The spray nozzle must be a single spray nozzle and deliver a soft to medium spray, although a multi-spray nozzle will also be considered. Please specify quantity and type of mulity-spray options and purpose. The spray nozzle should be manufactured from good quality durable material, UV-resistant and be able to withstand normal pipe pressures ranging between 6 # 9 kPa and be interchangeable with most adaptors. The working parts of the spray nozzle must be robust to prevent leaks and spray nozzles and adaptors should be covered by at least a six month manufactures replacement guarantee. The tap adaptor set and hose adaptors to the nozzle should be of good quality and should be of the shut-off type to prevent water losses when the spray nozzle is removed. Please specify manufacturer type, warranty and replacement details please. Wherever reference is made to any particular Trade Mark, Name, Patent, Design, Type, Specific Origin or Producer, such reference shall be deemed to be accompanied by the words "or equivalent". Technical datasheets can be uploaded/ attached to the RFQ Allocation of Preference Points In order to qualify for preference points, it is the responsibility of the bidder to Submit a duly completed MBD 6.1 form (bidders must indicate how they claim points for each specific goal) Submit documentary proof of updated BBBEE certificate/sworn affidavit and/or CIPC certificate with each RFQ submission to validate specific goals. (if a bidder is registered and active on the City#s Supplier Database and has submitted the BBBEE certificate/ Sworn affidavit/ CIPC certificate, the submission of said documents is not necessary). It is therefore incumbent on suppliers to ensure that documents are kept updated. Failure to comply with the above will result in a zero (0) allocation for preference points.
