RFQ Type Goods Goods MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, ACCESSORIES & SUPPLIE Reference Number GN12300691 Title 40 pack of presterilized ready to use me Description 3 each x 40 pack of presterilized ready to use me Specification* 3 x 40 pack of presterilized ready to use media plate for detection of heterotrophic bacterial detection in water Specifications # Must be tested and approved by certified internatioanl bodies such as AOAC, Nordval, Microval etc. Certificate should be provided upon request # The plates should be prepackaged in foil and should have a shelf life of at least 30 days upon opening. # The expiry date, lot number, and test parameter should be reflected on each plate, and each plate should have an area for labeling # The plates should contain a counting grid for easy enumeration of colonies. # The dehydrated media plates must be stable at room temperature for at least 18 months upon arrival at Scientific Services Branch. # The plate must contain sterile and ready to use dry dehydrated chromogenic nutrient media sheet and packaged within easy handling solid cartriges with lids to avoid contamination and spillage. # Should be able to use with minimal training # The test must be able to easily detect heterotrophic bacteria in water samples based on the principle of chromogenic media. # Plates should be able to be rehydrated by dispensing 1 mL of water sample to the centre of the dehydrated media which will then allow for automatic even diffusion across the sheet, transforming it into a gel. # The plates must be able to used for filter/SMEWW method # The plates should be able to provide results within 48 hours of incubation at a temperature of 35 ±1 °C and they must .be comparable as the standard ISO method for detection of heterotrofic bacteria in water. After the incubation period, presumptive colonies should have red appearance for bacteria.
