Sample must be provided as per RFQ. • Coupon must be printed with black ink on both sides on 80gsm board (Colours to change every financial year or as required) • Numbered in 2 places stamped not printed, perforated once (numbering to follow consecutively) • 200gsm Board for coupon book cover front and back and padded on the left-hand edge, glued not stapled • Size 148 x 105mm (Invoice section 90mm and perforated section 58mm) • Book number to be printed on a sticker on the front of the cover and batched in groups of 50 when delivered. Each batched numbered. • Barcode The barcodes are an additional security feature which will be supplied by the successful service provider and must correspond with the stamped numbers. Numbers must be stamped with a numerator in Red. Barcodes must depict the prices, types of coupons and the coupon number as stipulated. Service providers to note that the City currently uses a Honeywell 1300G-2USB scanners at all the Solid Waste Management Disposal sites therefore the barcode MUST be read by these scanners. The barcode size must therefore be 50mm with two barcodes per coupon, one on the invoice and the other on the perforated section. These needs to be stuck on by the service provider where instructed by Solid Waste staff and not to be printed on the coupon. • Booklet sample with Barcode A sample of a proposed disposal coupon booklet must be submitted and the sample barcode must meet specifications in terms of depicting prices, types of coupon and coupon numbers, so that it can be assessed, the printing and quality in terms of compliance of the specification. The proposed sample must be submitted with the submission.
