These parameters are critical to detect sea water intrusion while pumping groundwater. The Piezometer should have a technology to reduce fringe field interference errors. Reduces inaccuracy caused by polarization effects and lowers contact resistance problems. The probes elements should be constructed with materials such as epoxy or graphite making it extremely durable for use in rugged field conditions such as the ocean and contaminated water. The water depth level should be measured with a rugged and stable piezo-electric, media isolated pressure element and compensated for temperature using proprietary calibration methodology. The device should be powered internally with replaceable AA batteries and alternately powered with an external auxiliary power supply. Conductivity range should be upto 250 000 uS/cm. Device diameter should be approximately 1.5 cm, store upto 300 000 records in non-volatile memory, length shoud be approximately 37 cm, weight should be approximately 0.5kg, supplied with a 30m sumersible cable. Should be able to operate at a temperature range from -5 to 40oC. The data loggers should be supplied with the software and cable to extract data from the devices to the laptop (level scout communication device).
