Scope of Supply The bidder shall supply and deliver a fully built Rigid Hull Vessel, complete with propulsion system, trailer, accessories, safety equipment, documentation, and all fittings required for safe day-to-day operational use. 2. Vessel Type Rigid monohull, centre-console design, suitable for coastal and inshore operations. Optimised for stability, speed, and multi-purpose loading. 3. Construction & Materials • Hull Type Deep-V or semi-V rigid hull • Material GRP composite • Deck Self-draining, non-skid finish, gel coated for extra durability • Hand railing installed at bow • Engines must be protected by a suitable, approved protective cover bar. This must be approved marine grade of stainless steel or high tensile steel, hot dipped galvanised and must accommodate two 140HP twin installation. • The motor consul panel must include fuel, temperature and oil gauges, and a marine grade 12v electrical outlet. The consul colour scheme must be a standard white or blue or grey to client’s choice. • The vessels must have marine tow connections vessel will require secure attachment points on port and starboard side at the stern to attach a towing bridle. • Freeboard requirement • Night lights suitable for night rating + low-level deck lighting. • Fuel pump in proper housing 4. Electrical System • 12V marine-grade power distribution • Dual battery bank with isolator switches • Bilge pumps, breakers, and fuse panel • Deck and navigation lighting (LED) 11. colour • The colours shall conform City of Cape Town colours 12. Trailer Requirement • The trailer shall have its first registration and license with respect to the National Road Traffic Act (Act 93 of 1996) (as Amended) in the name of the City of Cape Town. • Trailer must have flushable hubs and sealed bearings • Boat + trailer combined weight 1393–3500 kg • Trailer must be "suitable" for vessel 13. Warranty • The contractor shall provide the following warranties - Five-year limited warranty for the hull structure excluding fair wear and tear and abuse. - 12 months for all electronics and other general items excluding abuse and/or fair wear and tear. - 12 months against manufacturing defects and poor workmanship. - The warranty provision shall exclude user accidents, mishandling, abuse and/or fair - wear and tear. ENTITY REQUIREMENTS Confirmation from an Authorised Distributor/OEM Reseller Letter that the tendering entity can supply the goods tendered for. The Authorised Distributor/OEM Reseller letter shall be on the signed Distributor/Manufacturers letter head.
