Tender Description:
RFQ Type Goods Goods Chemicals Reference Number GC12600204 Title On-site electrolytic chlo)dosing con wtp Description 1 each x on-site electrolytic chlo)dosing con wtp Specification* Constantia WTP Specifications OSEC (On-Site Electrolytic Chlo)Dosing System Supply and Install an On-Site Electro-Chlorination Unit at Constantia Nek WTW Supply and install an on-site electro-chlorination system that is capable of remote monitoring and automated control for disinfectant production and dosing. The unit must consist of the following parts ?Reactor housed together with Electrical Control Unit ?Salt/brine tank (approximately 500 litres) ?Final product dosing tank (approximately 2500 litres) The OSEC generator utilizing electrochemical activation (ECA) technology must convert salt (sodium chloride), water and electricity into Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl). The generator technology must separate the produced disinfectant from its by-products at point of production i.e. Hydrogen Gas and Caustic. All by-products produced must be nontoxic and easily disposed of. Hydrogen gas must be vented to atmosphere with no risk of gas build up or explosion. System designed to disinfect drinking water at a plant capacity of up to 2.5 MLD, capable of adjusting to different flow rates based on water production. General operation between 2 to 2.5 Ml/day. Disinfectant is pH Neutral and the system can generate disinfectant at concentrations between 500 - 2000 ppm HOCl with a target range of 0.8 to 1.2 mg/l residual chlorine in final drinking water. System capable of real-time measuring and storage of quality parameters (specifically flow and concentration) for automated control of dosing application to ensure proper and stable water quality. Disinfectant generation and dosing must be fully automated and able to automatically adjust based on flow rates and chlorine concentration i.e. the system must continuously measure the residual chlorine and adjust the dosing of disinfectant automatically based on the results. The system must be capable of full remote monitoring of customer-specific quality and operating parameters via web-based access and customized authorization levels. Remote access to adjust generator, production and application settings must be available. The system must be Modbus-enabled for communication. The system must be capable of producing customized reports and sending alert notifications automatically. The system must be fully compatible and allow for integration into the City#s SCADA System. The system should be low maintenance and require minimal operator interaction and replenishment of consumables. The generator must occupy a compact footprint of approximately 1.3 m², with dimensions 1620 (L) x 1000 (H) x 800 (W) (refer to drawing). The generator must have a production capacity that reaches 100 litres per hour @ 2000 ppm The generation unit must have a total weight less than 125 kg and operate on single phase (230 Volt) electricity.
