Kestrel 1000 or equivalent -The unit should be capable of measuring 1. The current wind speed 2. The average wind speed 3. Max wind gust -The unit should be able to measure speeds up to or beyond 30m/s. -The unit should have a digital display and should be able to toggle between wind speed units of measurement i.e.(m/s, km/h, knots etc) -The unit should be waterproof -The unit should have an accuracy tolerance of at least 5% or less of reading -The unit should be small enough to easily fit into a pants pocket.
