This specification covers for the supply of three grades of high quality multipurpose greases as follows LM/2 - No. 2 NLGI Consistency for wheel bearings of disk braked vehicles, [note the temperature range of -10 oC to 150 oC, intermittent 200 oC], industrial anti-friction bearings, centralised lubrication and general applications LM/3 - No. 3 NLGI Consistency for vertical shaft electric motors, industrial anti-friction bearings and general applications. LM/2M - No. 2 NLGI Consistency containing not less than 3% Molybdenum Disulphide (m/m) and an EP additive for low speed heavily loaded rolling element bearings, components subjected to either oscillating or rotating motion, chassis points, bucket pins, bushes, linkages, etc. 2. The oils shall be formulated from high quality HVI paraffinic base oils, blended from virgin base stock and containing suitable additives. Samples taken from any portion of the supply shall be free from impurities. No reclaimed oils are to be used. 3.
