RFQ Type Goods Goods FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES Reference Number GL12500386 Title Heavy duty tables with fold-in legs Description 50 each x heavy duty tables with fold-in legs Specification* Scope of Work 3.1 Bidders are required to quote in accordance with the specifications provided below under section 5. 3.2 CTS acknowledges that variances may exist between the specifications provided and the product offered by manufacturers/suppliers. As a result, a variation of up to a maximum of 10% will be allowed on the sizes provided. Bidders are therefore required to offer products which closely resemble the size and functionality of the specifications provided, in order to ensure the maximum utilisation of the furniture within the facility and venues indicated. 3.3 Bidders will be required to supply, deliver and assemble (where necessary) the stock to/at the DHL Stadium (Address Fritz Sonnenberg Road, Green Point). The cost of delivery as well as any assembly required on-site must be included in the unit price tendered. 3.4 Bidders must ensure a maximum lead time of 4 weeks (from the receipt of an official purchase order) for the supply, delivery and assembly of the furniture on-site. 3.5 All furniture offers must have a minimum guarantee or warranty period of 1 year. 3.6 The estimated quantities to be purchased are as follows a) Heavy Duty tables with fold-in legs = 50 units The above items and estimated quantities will be used to evaluate the offers in terms of price and preference. The RFQ will be awarded based on rates and the quantities listed do not represent the exact quantity to be ordered, as CTS reserves the right to order less/additional units, depending on budget and operational requirements. Specifications/Terms of Reference 5.1 The list of technical requirements reflects the minimum specifications of the furniture previously in use by the CTS and will th erefore be used as a basis for the type and quality of furniture required. Similar or equivalent furniture will however be considered, in line with section 3.2 above. 5.2 Heavy Duty tables with fold-in legs a) Below represents examples of the style of chair required.
