Tender Description:
The objective of this RFI is to enable UP to gain a better insight into potential vendors that can supply, install, calibrate, and setup electrical metering equipment on the University of Pretoria campuses. This RFI will generate a list of vendors that can quote on work as and when required. These meters are installed across multiple campuses and requires occasional maintenance as well as new installations. The applicants are required to work on the following items · Landis+Gyr loggers · Schneider electric loggers · Communication units for the loggers o Ethernet o RS 485 o GPRS · Units setup to ECWin 7 software package on an University of Pretoria network server · Unit setup to PME 9.0 software package on an University of Pretoria network server · Testing of correct functionality to the system · Unit installation with relevant monitoring equipment · Calibration and calibration certificates · Installation methodology and interruption requirements for the sites The applicants must indicate previous projects with references where they have completed work on the relevant loggers as well as the relevant software packages. The applicants must include a summary of the qualification of the team expected to work on the mentioned required work. The applicants must include their University of Pretoria vendor number in the application or indicate that they will be required to register to become a vender at the University. After reviewing the responses received by UP to this RFI, the relevant responders will be requested as and when needed to quote on work required to adhere to the applicable procurement policies.
