Instrument Temperature Operating Range The instrument must be capable of operating in a temperature range between 5 degrees C - 45 degrees C. Power requirements The instrument must be fitted with rechargeable batteries and supplied with an AC Adaptor for operating at 220V Be capable of operating for a minimum 6 hrs on battery in the field between recharges. Battery charger must be supplied or instrument must be designed to be plug in and recharge to 220V socket. Carry Case The carry case must be robust in design and construction. Constructed of heavy duty plastic or aluminium, Lockable Fitted with padded inserts to protect the instrument Weather proof in design. Software Proprietary MS Windows based data logging software must be included in the offering Blue Tooth enable The instrument should preferably be blue tooth enabled for seamless down loading of logged monitoring data to Laptop. Local Service and back-up support The supplier must offer local support service, back-up for the instrument. Inclusive Training session for 13 staff members in instrument use must be included in the service offering. The Instrument must be supplied with a minimum two year warrantee. Allocation of Preference Points In order to qualify for preference points, it is the responsibility of the bidder to Submit a duly completed MBD 6.1 form (bidders must indicate how they claim points for each specific goal) Submit documentary proof of updated BBBEE certificate/sworn affidavit and/or CIPC certificate with each RFQ submission to validate specific goals. (if a bidder is registered and active on the City#s Supplier Database and has submitted the BBBEE certificate/ Sworn affidavit/ CIPC certificate, the submission of said documents is not necessary). It is therefore incumbent on suppliers to ensure that documents are kept updated. Failure to comply with the above will result in a zero (0) allocation for preference points.
