Must be hand held for field use. 2. Must measure within the required range of measurements as follows a. Wind speed including maximum wind gusts readings <(>&<)> average wind speed, resolution at least 0.1km/hr and range of at least 3 km/hr to 140 km/hr b. Temperature in °C, accuracy of 0.5°C, resolution at least 0.5°C and range at least between -10°C and 55°C, including providing wind chill and heat stress index measurements c. Relative humidity using a temperature-corrected humidity sensor, readings in % with accuracy within at least 5% at least 1 % resolution and range of at least between 5% and 95% non-condensing humidity sensor, and providing a dew point temperature reading d. Altitude in meters 1 m accuracy e. Barometric pressure with a continually updating three-hour trend indicator. Accuracy within at least 3 hPa/mbar, resolution at least 0.5 hPa/mbar. 3. Must include - Back light for the screen - A hold function - button or key press to hold readings as required - A clock function - No-tools user-replacement impeller that allows for instalment/replacement in field 4. The unit must be waterproof and be able to float 5. The unit must be rugged with a drop-tested, non-slip grip protective cover 6. The supply must include 3 replacement impellers and humidity calibration kit 7. The supply must include neck lanyard and slide-on outer cover 8. The make and model must be issued with a certificate of conformity and a minimum of 1 year warranty 9. As in the Kestrel 3500 or similar Allocation of Preference Points In order to qualify for preference points, it is the responsibility of the bidder to Submit a duly completed MBD 6.1 form (bidders must indicate how they claim points for each specific goal) Submit documentary proof of updated BBBEE certificate/sworn affidavit and/or CIPC certificate with each RFQ submission to validate specific goals. (if a bidder is registered and active on the City#s Supplier Database and has submitted the BBBEE certificate/ Sworn affidavit/ CIPC certificate, the submission of said documents is not necessary). It is therefore incumbent on suppliers to ensure that documents are kept updated. Failure to comply with the above will result in a zero (0) allocation for preference points.
