They enable the user to produce suitable illumination for photographic / film use, and for architectural installations. The Colour Temperature conversion filters and the Colour Correction filters are designed to alter and control the colour of light sources. The Diffusion filters control the direction and intensity of light without altering the colour. Zircon filters are sturdier and longer-lasting than their standard counterparts. Manufactured using a 180-Micron material, they are more than double the thickness of a normal lighting filter. This makes them more durable and easy to use. 821 Zircon UV Blue Blocker Lighting Gel is a longer life filter used to block UV and blue light. Has an optical density above 4 in the UV and visible up to 470nm. >1% Transmission above 505nm. # maximum working temperature of 180°C # Use These filters are designed to correct and control the light emitted by LED sources. The Diffusion filters control the direction and intensity of light without altering the colour. # Production Each filter is manufactured by surface coating a thin layer of coloured lacquer onto both sides of a polyester (PET) film substrate (thin surface coated PET).
