The tenderer will supply a letter from the manufacturer stating that the defibrillator/monitor can be serviced and repaired locally by qualified product specific technical personnel. The successful tenderer will provide the City of Cape Town Fire <(>&<)> Rescue Service with product specific training and after care with regard to the application of the defibrillator/monitor in the EMS environment. Wherever reference is made to any particular Trade Mark, Name, Patent, Design, Type, Specific Origin or Producer, such reference shall be deemed to be accompanied by the words "or equivalent". *NB The Municipal Bidding Document 6.1 (MBD 6.1) has been amended, in order to be eligible for preference points bidders are required to submit a duly completed MBD 6.1 document with supporting documents with each and every RFQ submission.
