SCOPE OF SPECIFICATIONS This specification calls for the Supply, Delivery and Fitment of City of Cape Town High Risk Vehicle Roof Decals 2. APPLICABLE STANDARDS (or latest version thereof) # The decals should comply with SANS standard. (SANS 1186-1 2011or the latest versions thereof) Standard signs and general requirements. # Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 3. SPECIFICATION a) The decal must comply with the following requirements - It must be difficult to tear - Highly visible - Easily identified - Must have a city logo Silver reflective, either on black or white background with (500 x 500) dimension. - Cast vinyl should be used in the manufacture of the decal. (Avery MPI 1900 or equivalent) - The decal design should be screen printed on to the Cast vinyl - The film thickness should be a minimum of 40 microns. - The adhesive should be a clear, repositionable and permanent type. - The backing should be a two sided polyethylene coated paper not less than 140 g/m2. - The decals supplied must be able to withstand all South African weather 4. WARRANTY The successful tenderer is to guarantee materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years taking into account normal wear and tear. Any damage to the vehicle in the process of fitment will be for the tenderers account. Any damage negatively affecting the vehicle warranty will be for the tenderers account. 5. DELIVERY The delivery period from date of official purchase order is not to be greater than 2 weeks. Specify lead-time ##############. This specification calls for the Supply and delivery of service plan stickers for the vehicles 2. APPLICABLE STANDARDS (or latest version thereof) # The Sticker should comply with SANS standard. (SANS 1186-1 2011or the latest versions thereof) Standard signs and general requirements. 3. SPECIFICATION a) The service sticker must comply to the following requirement Dimession 100x100 mm Printing inkjet Refer to Annexure A attached. The information (text and City of Cape Town emblem) shall be legibly and permanently marked on each sign in such a way that the marking can be seen from the front. Refer to Annexure B for sticker text and design. (ANY CHANGE IN DESIGN WILL BE COMMUNICATED WITH THE SUSCESSFUL SERVICE PROVIDER. THE CITY OF CAPE TOWN WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ARTWORK OF THE DESIGN.) 4.
