Office Location Bloemfontein Email Address Ramdhat@eskom.co.za Scope Details Balkfontein Pumps Doornhoek Feeder -Strengthening •Dismantle approximately 6.1Km of 3Ph Hare Line from BD1 to BD56 •Re-build with 6.1km of 3Ph Chickadee line from BD1 until BD56 •Upgrade the cable from Feeder Breaker to the first pole from 185sqmm to 300sqmm •Re-connect all Fox and Hare T-offs back to the main line •Move the existing Recloser from BD55 to BD54 •Install a Voltage Regulator at BD18-62 and BD55 •Install a switch Capacitor Bank at BD166-19 and BD166-20 •Install 6 Gates •3.8km of Bush clearing to be done •Supply Employer approved material (as listed in paragraph 1.14.1) and collect Employer supplied material (listed in paragraph 1.14.1) from stores. The material listed in paragraph 1.14.1 is an estimation of the quantities and materials the contractor should provide. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of this material. No compensation will be allowed should the BOM as listed be incorrect. All material will comply with Eskom standards as per Eskom Distribution Standards, Part 9. All conductors will be Eskom marked. See project holding points in section 1.14.5 If a drawing or document that has been referenced in the design has not been included in the design.
