Medupi Power Station Coal Stock Yard (CSY) is located Y 56334.69 X 2622791.55 WGS84. Medupi Power station transports coal from a storage silo to the stations CSY via an Overland Coal Conveyor (OCC) system. The OCC Storm water drainage shall route along the OCC terrace between the Ten Thousand Ton Silo and road G20 located at the CSY and cater for a 1 50 year flood. The key function of the concrete lined drainage channel is for the erosion protection of the drain.
