They form part of the Fuel delivering system and when not available or a failure occurs on these pumps it can lead to unit shutdown or unavailability of All units for electricity generation These pumps are monitored and visually inspected but have not been serviced its entire operating life. The upcoming BOP outages for Gourikwa and Ankerlig is the perfect opportunity to have these units refurbished and internally inspected.
