RFQ Type Goods Goods Fuels & Lubricants Reference Number GC12300134 Title Fuels and lubricants Description 60 each x brake fluid dot 4 auto hydraulic 5l Specification* BRAKE FLUID - TYPE Dot 4 Auto Hydraulic VOLUME 5L SPECIFICATIONS Product shall be glycol ether and poly-glycol based, meeting and exceeding the following requirements SAE J1703, SA Government Gazette No. 4562 of 17 January1975 (as amended from time to time). The product shall meet or exceed the performance specification levels required by SANS 1905 2020 and shall be displayed on the containers. The product be compatible with brake other brake fluids meeting the compulsory Government standards. The brake fluid shall be the product of a recognized and established manufacturer. The product offered must meet the requirements of the OEM for vehicles and plant in use by the City of Cape Town. Bottles must be air tight, and have a suitable covering on the opening to prevent water absorption before and after the seal is broken. In addition to the Supplier's normal branding, the containers or packages and outer cartons or cases where supplied shall be clearly marked as follows with characters at least 20 mm high, using a stencil or label to ensure legibility.
